Christmas Lights

Tonight we went and looked at Christmas lights.  There is a house a few miles from ours that has over 250,000 lights, free popcorn, movie, etc.  A great place to go and see lots of lights.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Early Christmas Present

We couldn't hide the playset from Sam any longer.  So today after church and Sam's nap we took Sam outside and showed him the playset.  Sam was so excited, his words were "Thank you mom and dad, I am so happy!!"  We look forward to seeing the boys grow up and play on the playset.  Sam is looking forward to his cousins coming over during Christmas and playing on the playset.

 

 Sam took this photo of Jamie and Ben, Ben is a bit to young to be on the playset.  But hanging out in his bouncy chair on the picnic table works for now.

 

 

Dancin'

Sam absolutely loves music.  He has music class every Monday at 2K.  He remembers the words to all the songs and sings them all the time.  Today he ran into his room and got his Elmo slippers and then was singing and dancing to Christmas music.  Maybe in show biz later?

 

Playset

For Christmas Jamie and I got the boys a playset.  It is the Highlander playset from Sam's Club.

Over Thanksgiving weekend we went down to Jamie's Dad's farm and got the tractor.  We brought it back and I leveled a spot in the yard for the new playset; it had to take off about 2 feet of dirt on one side.

The next two weekends Jamie, my dad and I assembled the playset.  We then got 10 yards of playground mulch to go around the playset.  It wasn't bad to assemble and it looks really nice, but I will have to stain/seal the playset in a few weeks.

 

 

 

Talking to Santa Claus

Tonight we ran into Lowes (daddy's favorite store) and Sam and Ben went and saw Santa Claus.  Sam did a great job; he hopped right up into the sleigh and told Santa what he wanted for Christmas (tools, that's my boy!!).  Sam sat really well and smiled for a picture with Santa.  Ben then got a picture with Santa and Mrs Claus.  Sam couldn't stop talking about Santa and looking forward to getting tools.  I guess we'll see what Santa brings the boys for Christmas.

 

 

 

Trains and books

Today after work, Sam wanted me to play with him in his room.  We played with all of his cars and then we got the trains out.  Sam loves to play with his trains and yells "Choo, Choo".  We then read some books.  Ben sat in his Bumbo and watched and listened to us.

 

 

 

Ben is 3 months old

Today Ben is 3 months old.  He is getting so big and is a great baby.  We are so blessed.

 

 

 

Christmas Parade

Fountain Inn (the next town over from us) has a Christmas Parade every year.  We got there early and found a great spot, ready for Sam (and Mommy) to get some candy and to see Santa Claus.  We had a great time.
