Halloween

Tonight we went over to our very good friends house, Chris and Hollie Forrester.  We walked around with them and their 2 girls to go trick-or-treating.  Sam had a great time and did such a great job.  He remembered to say "trick-or-treat" and to thank everyone for the candy.

 Sam is telling Jamie to go faster, get more candy.

 Maybe there is some candy in that pumpkin for mommy and daddy.

Pumpkin carving

Today Sam and I carved pumpkins.  We carved Ben's little pumpkin, he watched or maybe napped.  We tried something different and easier for Sam.  He hammered yellow pegs into his pumpkin, in the shape of a bat.  It looks good at nighttime.

 

 

 

 

Ride-a-little-horsey

Copper is a very good and understanding dog, she loves the boys.  Sam decided to try to ride Copper tonight before bedtime.  Sam is a bit big for her.

 

First Bath!!!!

Tonight we finally were able to give Ben his first bath.  Ben's umbilical cord finally fell off, it only took 7 weeks (a long time).  Ben enjoyed getting into the water.

 I prefer Ben's hair combed down.

Ben is doing a great job sticking to a schedule.  Tonight he wanted to stay up a bit longer and hang out with Mom and Dad.  Ben is sleeping 6 to 7 hours at night time.  Jamie appreciates it very much.

Mexican Dinner, Grandma Hawkins Birthday

Tonight we went out to eat with Jamie's family and to celebrate Jamie's mom's birthday.

 Sam enjoyed his Mexican food, he cleaned his plate.

Tummy Time

We like to make sure Ben gets some Tummy time.  Of course Sam has to check on him.  Ben is getting close to turning over.  Sam tries to help Ben or even shows him how to do it.

 

 

 

 

Getting ready for Halloween

Sam is so excited for Halloween, it is Jamie's favorite holiday.  Sam is going to be a pirate, so today he tried on his pirate outfit.  Sam ran around the house yelling "ARRGGGHH MATEY".

 

Touch-a-truck

After running some errands today, we went to Fountain Inn so Sam could go to Touch-a-truck.  Sam got a fireman's hat, some stickers and a sucker.  He really enjoyed all the trucks.

Staring contest

Sam and Ben are having a staring contest, not sure who won, but they both giggled and had fun.

 

 

Ben is 1 month old

Today, Ben is 1 month old.  Time goes by so fast and he is getting so big.

 

Sleeps Like Dad and Playtime

Jamie thinks it is funny that both of the boys sleep like me; their arms raised up next to there heads.

 After a good nap it was playtime.  Look at all the animals and colors.

 

 

Peacefully Asleep

I remember just about 2 1/2 years ago Sam sleeping so peacefully.  Now Ben is curled up the same way.  They are so cute sleeping like this, Jamie and I could look at the boys this way for hours and it always brings a big smile to our faces.  It is the little things that matter.
