Copper

Today I went outside to get a few pictures of the house for Ben's baby book.  Copper our dog wanted to go outside with me.  She is like a mom to our boys.   Copper decided to sit nice and pretty for me, I had to get a picture and share it.

 

 

Brotherly Love

Sam absolutely loves and adores his brother.  Jamie and I are so happy Sam is not jealous and loves his brother so much.

 

 

Ice Cream

One of Jamie's co-workers brought us dinner tonight.  It was very much appreciated, as we have been busy adjusting to having 2 boys now.  Sam enjoyed eating his ice cream bar after dinner.

 

Cousins

We look forward to seeing Greg and Betsy; Sam loves to see Victor.  I think it is because our boys are so close in age (18 days).  It is fun to see them grow and talk about how each one of the boys has changed.  Sam looks forward to seeing Victor and for days afterwards says: "where is my Victor, I want to play with my Victor".  We look forward to seeing them again during Christmas and Sam's other cousins in New York, Ambrose and Blaise.

Skytop Orchard

Today Jamie and I first took Ben to his 2 week checkup appt.  Ben weighted 10lb 1oz and was 22 inches long; that means he has gained 1lb 6oz and 3/4 inch since he was born!  After the doctor appt. we picked up Sam from daycare and headed to Skytop Orchard in Flat Rock NC.  We met Greg, Betsy, Victor, and Grandma and Grandpa Johnsman there.  Greg, Betsy and Victor came up from Edisto Island to visit and meet Ben.  We had a great time watching the boys run and play on the playground.  Feed sheep, goats, ducks, and bunnies.  We then got some apples and apple cider donuts; they are soooo good.

Afterwards we went and had some great mexican food.  It was a great afternoon with family.

Blanket Time

Today after Sam and I went to church Sam wanted to play with Ben.  Sam and Ben rolled around on a blanket in Ben's room, Sam read Ben a book called Benjamin Bunny and Copper wanted to check everything out as well.

 

 

 

 

No more pictures Dad!!

I think Ben was trying to tell me no more pictures today Dad!!

 

 

Getting ready for bed

Jamie and I have a good bedtime routine for Sam, now we have to adjust a little with Ben.  Sam loves to read books and then give Ben a kiss and lay down with him on his bed.

 

 

 

Aahhhh a full belly

Ben has been eating a lot, he is just a big boy and likes to eat.  Sometimes Ben falls asleep during feeding.  Today we went back to the doctor and Ben is almost back to his birth weight.  The doctor said he is better than most, great job Jamie!!
