Scout

Another present Sam got for Christmas was a Leapfrog My Pal Scout toy.  I finally got around to installing the software on our computer and downloading settings, songs, and Sam's name to the My Pal Scout toy.

Sam just lite up when we first turned it on and it said "Hi Sam, I love you".  Sam loves all the songs and interactive sayings Scout does.

Pillow Pet

Sam got a Pillow Pet for Christmas, he thinks it is his doggie.  I think Copper is happy that Sam climbs on the Pillow Pet and not her as much as he did before.  Of course Sam likes to smile for the camera too.

So Tired

Sam was so tired after our walk and playing in the snow he took a long nap.  When Jamie went to check on him, this is what she found.

SNOW DAY!!!!

We got 6 inches of snow and we didn't have to go to work.  Everything shuts down in the South when it snows.

We took Sam out for a walk in the snow.  I had the genius idea of pulling Sam in a laundry basket in the snow.  It worked great until Jamie said "Doug the basket has holes in it, Sam is getting covered in snow and he is going to get wet and cold".  Well, Jamie was right, so..... I thought why not put the basket into a rubbermaid tote, but the mistake was way too high of a center of gravity and Sam leaned to one side.  Sam leaned over and I pulled him a few feet with his face in the snow.  Just think of the Christmas story movie with Raphie's younger brother stuck in the snow with face full of snow.  So we abandoned the basket idea and we just decided to carry Sam during our walk.

10 months old

Sam is 10 months old, we don't know where the time has gone.  Sam is getting so big. And as you can see Sam is walking now, and walking very well.  It is getting harder to get a picture with him sitting still.

SpaghettiO's

Sam had his first experience with SpaghettiO's.  Jamie figured Sam was going to get really messy so Sam was stripped down to just a diaper.  I think Sam really enjoyed the SpaghettiO's.
