Helping mom with laundry

Sam was busy today helping Jamie with laundry.  Sam did a great job, my clothes are folded so well.

Sam was so tired from helping with the laundry he took a nap on the couch.  Jamie put Sam in the middle of the couch and he wiggled his way between the couch and the ottoman.  We guess he was happy with that spot, he slept there for awhile.

Day at the Lake

Jamie and I dropped Sam off at Jamie's parents and went to Lake Hartwell for the afternoon.  We had a great time riding around on the Jetski.  It was nice to have a few hours to ourselves, talk, and enjoy the beautiful scenery around Lake Hartwell.  We got back to Jamie's parents around 4:30pm, we missed Sam, but we're not sure how much he missed us?  Sam was keep busy and was the center of attention for Jamie's parents and later in the day his two cousins, Kaylee and Abbey.  But can you blame them he so cute and such a good boy.

We had a great day and I know I am looking forward to more time at the lake.

2 month checkup at the doctor

Sam had his 2 month checkup at the doctor this afternoon.  Sam weighs 13lb-12oz, he is 24 3/4 inches long and head measures 16 1/4 inches.  Sam got 4 shots and he did great.  The two nurses did one shot at a time in each leg, it was over in a matter of seconds.  Sam cried for about 15 seconds in Jamie's arms and then was okay; he is such a tough guy.  Sam continues to change so much everyday, he is very talkative, he smiles and laughs, and he is so curious about watching things.  It is great to watch him grow right in front of us.

Happy Mother's Day

Jamie had a great 1st Mother's Day, Sam is a good boy and told me to get Jamie some things for Mother's Day.  Sam and I got Jamie some flowers, a cookie cake, and a charm necklace that is a boy's head silhouette with "Samuel, 3-7-10" on it.  Sam is posing with Jamie's gift's for Mother's Day, but the best gift is Sam.

2 months old

Sam is 2 months old today.

Sam had to get a change of clothes, spit up happens.

BUMBO TIME!!!

Jamie got Sam's Bumbo out of the closet to see if he would sit up in it and hold his head up well or not, looks like he got the hang of it really quick.

Evening Play Time

Sam had some evening play time on his play mat.  He is so interested in the farm animals and he is holding is head up so well.  Sam is growing so fast, I hope we don't miss anything.

After playing soooo hard, Sam was a little tired and needed some time with his lovie.

Copper got a haricut

Copper got her first haircuit at a groomer, she got a summertime haircut.  It is short, but it looks great and she seems to like it as well.  Jamie and I are really happy about how much less Copper sheds now.

Saturday events in Greer

We got up early Saturday morning, Sam is doing a little better sleeping at night.  He usually goes to sleep around 10:30pm, wakes up between 2 & 3am, and then back up around 5:30am.  Jamie and I are definitely looking forward to Sam sleeping through the night.  I headed over to mom and dad's house to change oil & rotate tires on Jamie's car, and had a heck of a time just getting down the road in their subdivision, neighborhood yard sale, people are crazy and don't care where they park or walk.

We then went to Century Park to watch Maddy's T-ball game; she did great.  We visited with Maddy's mom and grandma (Hollie & Jane).

After the T-Ball game we had lunch at the Clock in Greer and then went to the Greer Family Festival in downtown.  We went to hear Kaylee sing with the Chandler Creek Elementary School Choir; they did great and sounded good too.

Friday afternoon playtime

Jamie went to lunch with Hollie and Jane, Sam slept on the way home.  After getting home Sam was ready for a little play time with Mom.

Sam loves to look at the turtle and hit the snail in his bouncy chair, he can't get enough of it.

Sleeping Angel

Sam woke up early Monday morning, Jamie got up with him and feed him.  They took a nap after that, I woke up to see them sleeping like angels.
